Ivan (sometimes pronounced Yvonne here in Mexico) got his start with Chubby’s Karaoke in the spring of 2004. We met Ivan through a mutual friend and immediately recognized his raw talent. He started with CK taking the photos of singers for CancunKaraoke.com, where he helped capture many of the special moments in the thousands of photos that appeared on our website…and then were lost (more about that on our home page). In the fall of 2005, Ivan began to train as a karaoke host and started hosting his own karaoke shows by the early 2006. He brings his unique singing style and sense of humor to his karaoke shows at La Cabaña in the Royal Caribbean and Sidelines in the Royal Sands, where he is loved by the Royal Resort guests who visit his shows.
