Joshua
Joshua (he is NOT Chubby’s son as the rumor mill says) has been involved with CK since 1996 not only as a KJ, but also helping in the expansion of CK over the past 8 years. As the Vice-President of CK, Joshua operated the company while Chubby and Trinity started the business’ expansion process in Cancun in 2002. He has a college degree in audio engineering, record management and promotion, and a minor in business. A musician at heart with 18 years experience, Joshua has been a lead singer for several popular bands in North Carolina and has toured extensively throughout the east coast. He also has worked as an audio engineer and a vocalist for Sound Choice, the leading U.S. manufacturer of karaoke tracks. Joshua also has worked as a studio musician for other recording studios performing on numerous projects. His unique “live entertainment” singing talents allow him to be versatile in almost any style of music. He can perform with a full band or as an acoustical duo setting with a variety of music partners. As a talented karaoke host for over 8 years, he continues to entertain the audiences in CK’s new Cancun market.
UPDATE: In the fall of 2005, Joshua began to make himself visible in the local LIVE music scene. From time to time, he would sing (for free) at local downtown clubs and in the Hotel Zone, including Hard Rock Cafe, Bulldog Cafe and Daddy Rock. In the fall of 2006, Joshua officially joined Flashback, the BEST LIVE BAND in Cancun. They currently perform together as the house band at Pancho & Willy’s, which is located at Captain’s Cove across from the Omni Hotel in the Hotel Zone.
