Max has been a friend of ours since we first met him…through Ivan…in 2002.  We never thought of him as a potential KJ  until the Royal Resorts asked us in January, 2007 to provide karaoke at the Royal Haciendas.  So we asked Max if he was up for the challenge and he said YES.  Max brings his unique brand of humor and singing to his karaoke shows (yes, he does sing in Spanish & English) and he is a valuable player on the Chubby’s Karaoke team.  Originally from Veracruz, Max lived 15 years in the U.S. (we aren’t sure if it was legally or illegally) but family obligations brought him back to Mexico (and eventually to Cancun in 2000).  Max is also one of the tallest Mexicans living in Cancun…..
